OUR FIGAROS HAVE THE X-FACTOR!

This month we are featuring a very special car that we created for a rather well-known presenter and his girlfriend.

This month we are featuring a very special car that we created for a rather well-known presenter and his girlfriend. You will all have heard of Dermot  O’Leary, Radio 2 DJ and TV presenter of The X Factor, Big Brother’s Little Brother and many other programmes. One thing you probably don’t know is that Dermot and his partner Dee are the proud owners of a fully restored Nissan Figaro that was created by The Figaro Shop.

Dermot gave the car to Dee Koppang as a surprise birthday gift (the best way to receive a Figaro!). Dermot had already visited us in advance to select the car and the colour and he chose a low mileage lapis grey model.  Then Dee came down to our workshop, arriving in a blindfold! and she was introduced to the car. We spent some time going through leather samples and designs so she could choose her favourite style for the brand new Italian leather interior.

You can see from the pictures that she chose a striking dark charcoal grey leather to contrast with the warm ivory and it looks really amazing. The car was then fully alarmed with central locking and electric boot pop and we installed USB and Mp3 compatibility. As with all of our cars, it was fully re-sprayed and had many hours of loving restoration including a complete mechanical overhaul. A full 250 hours labour was put into the car.
