Once you have blown the dust off and wiped down your beloved Figaro, it's time to do a health check to keep your Figgy sailing along!
1) Make sure to charge your battery if it's been unused for any length of time. You could also invest in one of our solar trickle chargers, which are great to keep the battery ticking over – especially if you have an alarm or other battery drain. Using a solar charger means that there's no cost for the electricity used.
2) Have the oil and other fluids checked to make sure the levels have not dropped. Check the water, brake fluid, window wash/wipe, air con and power steering levels.
3) Check that your hood and door mechanisms are not stiff but are moving smoothly. Use some white grease to get them moving - the spray types are very easy and practical to use.
4) Check the tyres are fully pumped up and that the tyres have not perished and have enough tread.
5) Check the bulbs on your lights and instrument panel are all working,
6) Check that your brake lights and fog lights are all in working order.
Enjoy your Spring Figaro driving!
